Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate

Colder weather calls for warming treats at the end of a long day. Enjoy this nutty version of your traditional hot chocolate topped with our Toffee Pops Peanut bikkie for the perfect mid-winter drink.

Tip: Depending on your taste add more or less maple syrup to achieve desired sweetness.

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

2 cups milk
100g good quality dark chocolate
2 tablespoons of unsweetened cocoa powder
4 tablespoons of smooth peanut butter
4 tablespoons of maple syrup
2 Toffee Pops Peanut bikkies

Instructions

1. In a saucepan, combine the milk and chocolate. Stir regularly on medium heat until chocolate has melted and milk is hot.


2. Take off the heat, add cocoa powder and peanut butter. Whisk until smooth.


3. Stir in maple syrup and pour into a mug.


4. Top with whipped cream, chocolate sauce and crushed Toffee Pops Peanut bikkie pieces (or a whole one for dipping!).
