Banoffee Pie

The Banoffee pie is a popular dessert and we have taken this recipe and put a good old Kiwi ingenuity twist on it by using our delectable Griffin’s Digestive biscuits as a base.

This delightful Banoffee pie has a delicious combination of both toffee and banana flavours. A heavenly pie that's super simple to make and is sure to be a winner with family and friends.

1 packet Griffin's Digestive biscuits

100g butter (melted)

1 tin condensed milk caramel

2 bananas (sliced)

2 cups whipped cream

1 small dark chocolate bar

1. Crush the Digestive biscuits, add the melted butter and combine. Press into the base of a round tart tin. Place in the refrigerator to chill.

2. Pour condensed milk caramel onto the chilled base. Arrange slice bananas over the caramel.

3. Top with whipped cream. Use a knife to scrape down the chocolate bar to get shavings, sprinkle over pie and serve.
